The Center for Portuguese Studies will hold a symposium on Theory and Practice of Translation in Portuguese Speaking-Countries, followed by a round table and seminar, with Professors Thomas Sträter (Heidelberg University), and Professor Hélio de Seixas Guimarães (University of São Paulo). The symposium is being held in connection with the 2019 number for our Santa Barbara Portuguese Studies.
